Drop-in Embroidery Clinic with Warehouse & DMC

Fancy learning a new skill  while breathing new life into clothes? Then head to Warehouse in Argyll Street on Tuesday 26 September 11am – 7pm, where I’ll be hosting a day of drop in embroidery sessions with DMC (the 270-year-old French embroidery thread brand that is used by fashion houses across the world). So, whether you want to personalise your jeans or add some creativity to that classic white t-shirt, join myself,  Warehouse & DMC for some inspiration.

All levels welcome. Thread, needles and embroidery hoops will be supplied by DMC. Bring your own item or purchase something from Warehouse and I’ll show you how to embroider on it. During the day I’ll have examples of my work to inspire and help you decide on how you’d like your embroidery to look. I’ll be teaching French knots, running, satin and back stitches. Don’t worry if you don’t know what any of these stitches look like, I’ll show you on the day! Embroidery is very therapeutic but time consuming so please be patient throughout the workshop.
